Description
This is a neat old adjustable depth counterbore which came from the estate of a man who worked at Curtiss Wright building military aircraft during WW2. This counterbore was used , with a flexshaft, to put in accurate counterbores for aircraft skin rivets. The input shaft diameter is about 1/4", and the pilot of the counterbore is removeable. Present pilot diameter is .250". Neat vintage aviation tool item.Good luck & thanks for looking !
