Designed to cut clean holes in wood and plastic, these WL Fuller counterbores produce flat bottom holes for the heads of nails, spikes, and bolts allowing them to be sunk far enough beneath the surface. This allows for a wood plug to be used to cover the head. The counterbore set, item WF12490006, includes items WFX3L, WFX4L, WFX5L, WFX6L, WFX7L, and WFX8L counterbores. Stop collars are not recommended for Type X counterbores. Designed for clean cutting. Made of carbon steel and heat-treated for long tool life
